    1. Admins
      1. Your Lead Admin is Breath.
      2. You can find him on the internal IRC server (irc://irc) in channels #ffow and #ffow.tournament
    2. Teams and Participants
      1. When all the players for your team have signed up, they will be the only players you may field in your player line up for each match.
      2. A player can only play for one team, although a team can enter more than 6 players.
      3. A clan may enter more than one team but players cannot be transferred between teams.
      4. Teams must be registered to be eligible to play in the games. You may register at any time over the weekend. Only registered teams will have access to the server password.
    3. Lateness
      1. Matches will begin at their specified time, regardless of whether all teams are on the server or not.
      2. If time allows it and their opponents are happy to wait, they may choose to play the match later - this is fully at the discretion of the admin.
      3. To be clear failure to notify admin’s of any lateness is not an excuse, it is the teams responsibility to ensure the players are in on the server when required.
    4. Mercenaries
      1. Mercenaries or “Mercs” (players not signed up with the team in question) will only be permitted if the opposing team agrees to it and the admin for the match is notified by a member from both teams prior to the start of the match.
      2. Spot checks will be carried out by admins. Use of mercs as substitutes is not allowed.
      3. Any unauthorised use of a merc will result in match being forfeit by the offending team.
    5. Format
      1. The format of the tournament will be a series of matches throughout the weekend. Each match is separate from the rest and holds its own prize money and win conditions.
      2. Matches will be played in a variety of modes and with teams or FFA. This will vary between games.
    6. Match Process
      1. The process for each match will vary. The specific rules and format of each game will be posted in advance of the match on the internal intranet. The admins will be happy to clarify any rules upon request.
    7. Client Configuration
      1. This is a bring your own computer event.
      2. Clients REQUIRE the latest version of FFOW as of the date of their matches.
      3. The tournament will be running on the latest stable version.
  7. Maps
    1. Map List to be confirmed.
  8. Gameplay
    1. General
      1. Teams are responsible for recording their own demos, even if demos are recorded on the server. (Note: in case of Demos not being implemented in FFOW in time for the tournament, this rule is void)
      2. Proof of cheating and proof of match results are only viable if accompanied by demo or screenshot evidence.
      3. It is up to your team to keep these and to produce upon the request of an admin.
  9. Cheating & Anti-cheat
    1. Cheating
      1. All forms of cheating are strictly prohibited - any player found to be cheating will forfeit the current match for their team and be removed from the all MPUK tournaments for the duration of the event, in accordance with the MPUK Cheating policy.
      2. If a clan breaks a rule without the admin noticing, they are still liable for the consequences.
      3. Any programs or files, be they changed FFOW files or new files, that change FFOW or add to its functionality, or that interact with FFOW in any way, are strictly forbidden.
      4. Modified versions of FFOW’s files are always forbidden, regardless of what they do.
      5. The use of any forbidden program or file by any clan member during a cup match will lead to the exclusion of the clan from the tournament.
      6. Disallowed practices include, but are not limited to, the following:
        1. Exploitation of game/map bugs/exploits that give an unfair advantage
        2. Scripts and external programs that provide an unfair advantage.
        3. Use of custom models and skins.
        4. Use of custom map textures.
        5. Use of aimbots, wallhacks and any exploitations of the engine.
        6. Use of binds or hardware macros that simulate timed button presses.
      7. The tournament admins may inspect your machine for evidence of cheats/hacks - these may be random checks or as a response to a complaint.
      8. Spectators are not allowed on the server only admins
    2. Sportsmanship and Cheating
      1. Unsportsmanlike and cheating will not be tolerated
      2. The use of exploits, cursing, insults, or racial slurs will result in a forfeit loss and possible suspension or removal from the tournament
    3. Punkbuster
      1. Punkbuster will be running on the server if available, your client must have it enabled.
  10. Reporting
    1. Report all rules violations to an admin.
    2. The burden of proof is on the accuser who must provide evidence.
