There was some fantastic action here today as the FIFA 08 Xbox 360 Tourney kicked-off. The group stages are now complete where the 32 entrants have been whittled down to the remaining 16, who play off in tomorrow’s double elimantion knock out rounds, with the final on the grand stage in the afternoon.

Apollo has defeated LeOwnzAll in an exciting final of the EA C&C3 tournament, and walks away with £850 in well earned prize funds. LeOwnzAll doesn’t leave empty handed as 2nd place picks up £400.

Nineinchnails captured the third place spot, defeating Pureball in the playoff, and taking home £250.

Throughout the day we have seen a lot of action in the Call of Duty 4 tournament and we are down to the Upperbracket Semi Finals with just 4 teams left. Dignitas will face TEK9 and Swedish powerhouse Fnatic will challenge TLR. In the lowerbracket we see another 8 teams trying to stay alive in this exciting COD4 tournament.
